Korobeiniki
Russian Folk Song

Arranged by Carl Stephen Hammer

Korobeiniki - short version
Korobeiniki - long version

Korobeiniki is a Russian folk song, which is also used as a popular Yiddish and Israeli folk song. It has been popularized by the video game Tetris, and Doctor Spin's novelty song, as well as various rock groups.

I arranged this tune for the BYU Cougar Band for a video game half time show in 2008. I used the folk song version rather than the game version as my source material. I shortened it to fit the halftime drill needs of the ensemble. I set the tune in a Russian style.
